Can having ibs-d with bowel incontinence lead to urinary incontinence issues later on?? I heard somewhere that it can.

I would think that being constipated could put pressure on your bladder which might make you have to pee.

bowel incontinence can and probably will lead to urinary incontinence due to your body adapting to being diapered and the fact most people pee when having a bowel movment any ways. For me its the reverse I am dealing with an OAB and I wear 24/7 to manage that but after 3 years I am now experiencing unexpected bowel issues so I guess I am on the way to being dual incontinent I hope not as I can deal with the bladder but do not want to have to deal with a bowl issue daily.

Sadly im afraid it CAN and most probaly WILL thats how i became Urinary inc from my IBS-D so i would try to be prepared for that as well

I have the bowel and bladder together and it's a lot of misery and work - mostly for the bowel.
