Does anyone use a "diaper genie" type product for disposal?

Wondering if something like a Janibell 330 / Akord Slim would be a worthwhile investment. Right now I'm using just a regular step-open small bathroom trashcan (4-5 briefs fills it), that contains odors well enough when closed, but the moment you open it ...

As far as I can tell, all the diaper genie does is wrap it up in a plastic bag hands free before it lands in the smellproof bin. I used to odorproof my disposables by bagging them in small (like, the really tiny ones) trash bags before tossing them. On a day when I was clearly dehydrated, or there was protein in the mix (aggravatingly frequent), I'd double bag, and that took care of it.
