Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has recommendations for which brands are baggy enough for the bulkier end of wearing (Kiddo/Cuddlz), high street shops are so full of skinny jeans, it’s hard to find decent jeans/casual clothes.
Found one decent pair in TU (Sainsbury’s) but just looking for general ideas. Had a search through threads prior to posting!

My boyfriend is early 20s & a 34 waist.

Cheers all!

I prefer cargo type pants when wearing, generally I get a size or two bigger than I normally wear.

Relaxed fit or casual jeans, one size larger than you need, is the most ideal. Exact brand shouldn't matter, but black of course.

For dressing up, go with pleated front slacks or khaki type pants. Again, one size larger than needed, and of course always black.

I've been wearing carpenter's jeans for casual wear - they're cut a little loose, and have lots of loops and extra pockets that create just a little bit of visual clutter. Like camouflage, having something that breaks up the lines of your pants will help to hide any extra bulk.

The same idea would apply to cargo pants, if you're looking for something along the lines of a very casual khaki. If you need something dressier, Slomo's suggestion of pleated front slacks is great, for much the same reason - the pleats not only give you a little extra room, but also create some visual lines that will break up any outline of a diaper underneath.

I tend to avoid khaki or tan colors, since navy blue or black will hide any leaks much better. I favor darker blue jeans over the light stonewashed ones for the same reason.

Yes, this. I order loose fit jeans 2 inches over and no one would ever know.

Awesome advice everyone (& very reassuring that everyone says the same thing about sizing up)!
Shame the high street thinks everyone in the world loves skinny jeans (it's hard enough for me to find ones I like so even worse for him).

Now to actually go shopping and get him in the changing room wearing....

Thanks again!

i don't think the pants matter as much as the shirt or jacket. if you can wear a shirt or jacket that breaks midway over your bottom area, you should also be in good shape. if you must have a clean waistline than yes larger pants size would be the other alternative.

Thanks everyone! Successful shopping trip this week with him in a nappy (one milestone passed!), went a size bigger and they were perfect.

If your need to wear formal/skinny style trouser, Tena Lady Discreet are very good, I wear them 24/7 atm, but thinking of trying full diapers so the tips re style and going one size bigger are very helpful thnks!

I've heard women's jeans suggested as an option for men who wear nappies, as they have more room in the seat... haven't tried it though.

For women, perhaps just a size larger than normal would work!

I wear female elastic waist pullon jeans and they work great for me. One thing is with wearing plastic back
diapers is they have a tendency to slide down. I suggest wearing a onesie or a cotton tee shirt tucked in.

I wear very normal fitting Levi's, a muscle t-shirt that stays tucked, and a l-o-n-g Mountain t-shirt, that hangs very low, covering it all. My wife knows my ass profile, but I'm absolutely sure no one else does. It works for me, but my job is a casual wear job, truck driving.

I just wear my usual jeans and shirt. If anyone notices I wear nappies so what

Same here, although I don't think I've really had anyone notice. Even when I go out with a nappy bulge that's quite obvious to me, still no-one notices. It has taken a while to get confident with this but my conclusion is that there's no need to make serious compromises in clothing choice. Wear what suits you, give a little bit of extra room with one size up or whatever, and then if you think you've done a reasonable job of concealment, you've probably got a safety margin.

Overalls! By far the most useful for me.

I wear cloth diapers and plastic pants with a onesie over them, then relaxed fit jeans regular size. Works fine for me.

I wear women's jeans from Lane Bryant and they fit fine

I don't know if Tykables are available in the UK but they make jeans and cargo pants just for diaper wearers, Note they have snaps to make changing easier bit I wear the cargo shorts in Florida and no one has ever noticed. Hope that this is of some help.

Ok two things I wanted to let you know you might know already but just incase, you said your BF is incontinent not through choice right? If so I get all my nappies supplied to me on the NHS there only Tena slips so nothing with mind blowing absorbancey however as I found its better than forking out +£100 per month on something you can't control, secondly to hide my nappies I use bodysuits or giant baby grows they not only stop them showing out the top but also keep them held up when full, the ones you can get in the incontinence stores are ok but over priced however I'm 6'2 in height and 32" in waist and weigh in at less than 10st this does mean that I can fit comfortably into the Marks and Spencer 15-16yr old bodysuits and they cost a fraction, obviously come summer wearing one of these is sometimes near on impossible but check them out there in the specialist clothing department online.
