Basically, what are you special skills or talents? While, I'm a writer... it's also something that helps me express myself. I have a hard time expressing myself verbally and emotionally, but I can write things down and explain them better that way. ^^

So, how about you guys? :3

I'm a bit of a puzzle fanatic. o.o I suppose that's my claim to fame for now.

Me too! 1000 piece or bigger and the harder the better.

Nothing special. I'm reasonably competent at a lot of things, not a specialist or expert at anything. If I were the last man on earth, I'd probably do alright, as long as I could find enough instruction manuals.

I agree with this also.

I agree with this also.

I like to do a lot of things, but I am getting more confident in identifying coins, making latch hook patterns and making the rug, cooking, and putting my degree in Botany to work in the garden.

Well I mean, I'm a lawyer and I'd argue that I'm one of the, I dunno, maybe 500 best people at copyright law in particular in the USA. It's my career, my particular specialty, I've done some cutting edge stuff on it, and I've sunk well over the 10,000 hour number into it, I feel like I'm pretty good there. I dunno if my career really counts though.

Outside of that, I'm a pretty good French Horn player. Good enough that if I practiced really hard I could probably join a professional symphony, though I've never had the drive for something like that. But I'm good enough to pick up and casually sight read most French Horn music with minimal errors. I'm also consistently in the top 1% of all Hearthstone players worldwide (a videogame made by Blizzard Entertainment), so I think that's pretty solid.

I actually don't often do jigsaws. ^.^;; Mostly logic puzzles, word problems, Rubik's cubes and similar, etc. I actually posted one of my own variants of a rather famous logic puzzle to the Puzzle Enthusiast group, if it gives you an idea of the type of puzzles I typically enjoy: https://www.adisc.org/forum/group.php?do=discuss&gmid=34623

I'd say I'm a novice at lots of stuff... but not really all that super good at any single thing. :frown:

I suck at pool so on the occasions I'm out somewhere with a pool table, I'll usually end up losing to whomever I am playing, but I can usually turn the tide by playing darts, where for some odd reason, I'm just good at it.

I'm good at playing video games, Basketball, Disc Golf (still a beginner), Origami, Math, puzzles, etc.

As a musician, I've had my organ concerts played on Public Radio. I was the keyboardist for a rock band and we had a yearly gig where we played for 20,000 people. Now I'm learning a lot of Chopin pieces on the piano, especially the Nocturnes and his Preludes.

I'm a musician. I mostly play drums, but I'm well-versed in pretty much any instrument and am a composer as well.

But I'm also pretty good at video games.

I feel like I can engineer things fairly well. I guess playing with Legos as a kid (and now) paid off!

As a programmer, I like programming, the language I specialize in is c++ anyone else who knows c++ here?
If so make a new hello world application and enter this into the Main

Driving that's about it. I used to be really good at writing but after junior year my depression got bad and I have that up and focused on what made me happy and that was being able to get the most out of my vehicles. It helps me clear my mind when I'm dealing with stuff which is why I got the job I did.

I repair & build all things electromechanical and hydropenumatic.

I'm a pretty good writer. I've written a couple screenplays including a spec script and have gotten a lot of compliments and praise for the work, including from people who are strangers to me and would have no incentive to lie for the sake of making me feel better. People claim I have a dark morbid sense of humor.

I also have near-perfect pitch. So I can pretty much play almost any popular song by ear. It's cool for parties just playing some random popular song on the piano just out of nowhere and people like it, but I wouldn't call myself a serious musician, even though I dabble with piano and trumpet in my spare time for fun. If you put sheet music in front of me, I'll struggle (Seriously, it's far easier for me to just play it after hearing someone else play it first than trying to read the sheet music. Yeah, I can read it. But it's far easier to just play by ear) and though I can play various random songs, I can't play them well. Trust me, I'm no serious musician. I didn't even think it was a big deal until someone told me that most people can not just play a song they just heard off the radio and naming a note that is played to them is pretty rare apparently.

Have you heard of the H3H3 copyright lawsuit? If so, what do you think about it?

Writing and Video Games. Maybe some other stuff.

I am mainly good at being myself if that helps answer your question.

I've been playing guitar for nearly 30 years. I'd say I'm pretty good at it. I'm a hard rock/blues player, but I play in a country band right now because that's who needed a lead guitarist.
