Thread: Correct way to spell little or is it Little?

Default Correct way to spell little or is it Little?

Should little be spelled with an upper case letter in front or lower case?

I have mainly used the lower case version to spell little. The upper case version seem to be applicable also.

Which way is correct or does it matter?

Grammatically speaking, I'd say little with a lowercase l is correct. I'd consider it a common noun (a noun which names general things), unlike a proper noun, which names specific things and is always capitalized. (For example, diaper = common noun; Huggies = proper noun.)

I capitalize it, to kinda elude to an adult body. Something's big about it; y'know?
