Question about diaper wearing......

So I'm doing a comic book/manga series about a sexy super heroine who wears diapers. However, I only want her to wear diapers like any regular article of clothing, none of that wetting or messing. It's been making me wonder: are there people out there who do wear diapers just for the sake of wearing one without wetting or messing in them? I've been trying to find the answer to this question, but everywhere I look, it's either someone saying they wet their diapers, but not poop in them, or vice versa. I just really wanna know if there are some who just wear a diaper as regular underwear and NOT pee or poop in them.

I always pee mine, but rarelly mess.

I generally wear on weekends and don't use, just wear. But I do wear at night about 50% of the time and do use them some night's.
Although I have been a DL as long as I can remember. I am very new to the freedom that I now have to pretty much wear whenever I want to.

I used to wear and not wet towards the beginning of my public diaper wearing. I only had depends back then and I feared leaks. I would only wet them when I was in a restroom, about to take them off. Now I can't imagine not wetting my diaper.

congratulations! I started to wear diapers like you b7t sporadic at best. I started having accudents in bed so i started wearing depends first only in bed but the at work and now i wear cloth diapers 24/7. i have no issues going out in a diaper undr my clothes, but now i am losing control and leak frequently and sonetimes i cant stop the flow (like now) i am wearing a leakmaster contour diaper which is now totally saturated. i will have to wash last nights diaper and this one. so i will put on a depend unetil tonite then back to my regular diaper

I can think of three plausible reasons for your heroine to wear nappies without using them.
* Comfort. Whether by association or just the feel of them, some people find the sensation of having a nappy on relaxing and more pleasant than ordinary underwear.
* Safety. She might wear one as insurance against leaks and accidents, or in case she gets stuck someplace that she can't get to a toilet, but in fact these never happen so the nappy never gets used.
* Fashion. In the locale of your comic, nappies could be fashionable in and of themselves and a must-have even if the wearer doesn't benefit from wearing them.
Whilst these all make logical sense to me, the concept still seems a bit peculiar. It would be quite disconcerting to have to go to the toilet every time I need a wee, when I've already got a nappy on for whatever reason. Like taking a bike on a journey and pushing it all the way instead of riding it.

Me too.

I wear my goodnites as protective underwear during nights where i think i might have an accident (either due to being too tired, sick or drinking too much water). if they stay dry the next morning, I will reuse it for another time hehe so yes, there are people who use diapers as underwear but with additional protection benefits for accidents

I know there are some people that don't use them at all but IMO (and not trying to tell people what to do or how to enjoy themselves) but it does have an air of being wasteful.

I would guess astronauts, some other pilots, some divers in dry suits and even comedians on stage can wear and only use if needed (based on an assumption diapers are just a precautionary tool of the trade) but I would find it implausible someone wearing would never use them or be distracted/bothered by it.

In the universe my comic is in, I was thinking of having all the beautiful women wear diapers. One of the older concepts was having another sexy female who is the villain that comes from a dark demonic world, and she also wears diapers. Another older concept was having the main heroine be a model for an adult diaper fetish site. Modeling in those diapers made her like wearing diapers so much that she started to wear them more often. She even made wearing diapers as part of her super heroine attire.

Either way, the main thing here was to have a couple of sexy comic book women wear diapers, and not do all the AB stuff. No wetting, no messing. Because I'm tired of seeing all that. I want a diaper porn that's a bit more serious, and far far away from being AB. I want a diaper porn where women just wear diapers like regular underwear by not peeing or s***ing themselves in them. Basically a diaper comic that's dark, sexy, and ultra violent with gallons of blood and gore.

Let's face it , if your character wears diapers without use it is ABDL related and may in fact do harm to your publishing and sales if that I'd your goal , most "normal" people look down on ABDL activity ( have you ever seen a TV program that was not edited to make an ABDL person look like a sick freak) so anything that hits mass media is most likely going to feel the same sting , early readers are going to bring that fact to light and very few books will be sold as soon as word of that gets out, a "super hero" with a disability " would be ground breaking" a super hero with what most people connect to a sexual fetish if they know anything at all would end up as cannon fodder for the tabloid rags,my sincere advice is make them with a disability of IC in there regular life, Clark Kent wore glasses and was never made an issue of , if you make a character with a low key very human condition it will be just a part of the character , whereas a character with an issue that is vaguely addressed and it involves a diaper it needs to addressed with a detailed backstory of why , no matter how interesting or how well drawn chances are it will be boycotted by the vanilla public.

I am sure that if you keep looking you will find someone who simply wears a diaper as underwear, but it will not be easy. If one is wearing a diaper...chances are they are going to or they have already used it.

I wear but can't explain what I use them for besides wetting or messing. I have done both but 99% of the time I "use" them home alone in bed. Vibrations clue lol.

I plan on self publishing it. I doubt Marvel or DC or even Dark Horse comics would want something like that. The last thing I need is to have some publisher tell me what to change and what to keep. Plus I plan on making it more of a webcomic, then later on come out with a printed graphic novel/manga. Also I don't intend on making my comic & my character AB related. I want stray far far away from the AB material. The reason why I want a comic book heroine to wear diapers is because I feel swimsuits, and leotards have all been done to death. Since I also find diapers sexy on women, I thought of creating a sexy superheroine of my own who wears diapers while kicking ass. And yes, I only want my character to wear a diaper like any pair of underwear. If she has to use the bathroom, then she can use the toilet. I don't see anything sexy about a woman walking around in a diaper full of pee and s***. Basically, my character is supposed to be a hooker by day, and crime fighter by night. As a hooker, she wears lingerie, and panties. When she's not so busy having sex with clients, she likes to wear diapers because she loves the way they feel, and finds them to be more comfortable. She prefers to wear diapers instead of panties which is why she goes out fighting crime wearing a diaper at night. But she's NOT into the whole AB thing.
