I'd probably go something a little crazy. Katana like support structure emitting a very short but intense beam along the edge. I'm not a super big star wars lore buff so can't say how all it'd work. Colour would be purple/violet or red. If red needs to be noisy and primitive looking for a lightsabre. So like.... very diesel punk :biggrin:
