Default NZ diapers Vs US/AUS diapers

Has anyone tried both NZ diapers as well as ones from US/AUS?
Are adult diapers in NZ less thick as US/AUS ones?

the only way they could be thiner then us diapers would be if they were as thin as regular underwear

LOL, because that is true of every diaper you can buy in a drugstore here in the United States. Though you do know that thicker (and more absorbent) diapers can be bought on the internet here, correct?

Remember that in NZ with our healthcare system, if you need nappies, they are in effect free. So what we can actually buy is a very small subset of what is being brought into the country

They are not free, you pay taxes and the government buys you diapers with that money.

I would rather keep the government from playing "monkey in the middle" on my diapers.

Are there any actual NZ manufactured diapers?
I thought the only diapers available in NZ were imported from the US, Europe, or China.

I agree with the US diapers being the thinnest. It's hard to finally a place to buy good diapers here. I don't have them shipped caus I don't live alone and haven't told anyone about my fetish lol.

Some internet diaper stores ship all their orders in plain (a.k.a. discreet) packaging, so the people you live with wouldn't be able to tell what's in it (without resorting to the extremely-intrusive method of opening the box, and the vast majority of people have enough common decency to not do so). One example is XP Medical - see http://www.xpmedical.com/shipping.html .

And for good (at least somewhat) brick-and-mortar stores for buying high-quality (for the United States) diapers, I would suggest medical supply stores. I had to go into the one in Eureka (CA) a few times for walker-related purchases & questions when I lived there, and I noticed they also sell diapers (they also have to serve incontinent customers). If your local medical supply store does not have your preferred diaper brand on the shelf, they might be able to special-order it for you; best thing to do in this case is to ask the employee behind the counter.

Yes I realise that but I would like to avoid shipping due to living with parents.

in Auckland, your best choice is going to be these guys for thickness

Tender Night are probably your best bet for thick, and over the counter

    Dr. P are OK
    Affective Advanced are OK

If you haven't already tried the below, do not touch any of the below
    http://www.supercare.co.nz/products....fs+%2F+Diapers
They are also marketed as Prevail by some other suppliers, and are still crap
    http://www.gonappies.co.nz/Categorie...Adult-Nappies/
Affective / Humanus are horrid. Plastic backing feels like there is sand ingrained. nasty.

If you have a local supplier in mind, flick me through a PM and I can advise. Chances are I've tried them :p
DO NOT BUY PREVAIL PM, they are RUBBISH
