Thread: What are the best albums of all time?

Default What are the best albums of all time?

So recently as of September of last year I decided to find some of the best all time albums ever made. I have always loved music but I never considered that listening to a whole album can be a lovely experience. So I have gathered a might list of albums that I love front to back and I was wondering if ADISC could tell me their favorite album or what they think the best album of all time is. I won't write my list down unless someone wants to actually read it as it is pretty long.

I'm a really crazy one about music ^-^ ( I'v something like 120 GB of albums on my computer) but here is a rock selection ( very hard to do, but it's a beginning, if you want to we can talk about music through mp =) ) :

    Grrr ! - Rolling Stones
    Horses - Patti Smith
    Cheap Thrills - Janis Joplin
Highway to Hell + Back in Black - AC/DC
    Physical Graffiti - Led Zepplin

Those are some great choices. I think I've heard horses but that's all from that list besides a few songs on those ACDC albums.

Gad......there are so many. I'm afraid I'm going to show my age, but Beatles: "Abby Road".

The first Crosby, Stills and Nash album. Jimmy Hendrix, "Axis Bold as Love".

    Rolling Stones: "December's Children".

Ah, dogboy you aren't showing your age.

I like Revolver by the Beatles, Tapestry by Carole King, Pet Sounds by Beach Boys and A Love Supreme by John Coltrane among many others.

Oh Revolver, Pet Sounds and the Wall! I had forgotten about them and they're great albums. Revolver is interesting because they used some polyrhythms in that album. Rubber Soul is another great Beatles album as well.
