"If ADISC Was A Real Life Family" - The Roleplay

Now then. . .

How 'bout I explain what's goin' on?!

So, as I'm sure some of you have seen, the lovely member of our beautiful site known as kite created the thread If ADISC Was A Real Life Family in the Off Topic forum of the website ADISC dot org.

This having been said. I am proud to announce that kite's thread inspired me to create this thread. The Roleplay version of "If ADISC Was A Real Life Family"!

Just a few things. . .

1) This is meant to be fun, so let it be fun! Don't get into stupid arguments about stuff that's happening in other forums. Argue as a family, if you must!

2) Moo is required to use the System font because he'll only be communicating over a speaker, and we shall never see him. (See the original thread.)

3) The process of this is quite simple. I'm mixing a form of Free-Style roleplaying with a pinch of Family roleplaying. Come in as yourself.

For example:

Mesmerale giggled as she lay on her bed, "When is everyone else going to join already?"

Break any recognition walls you want! But, I've seen some people roleplaying on ADISC, and it gets ridiculous, even aggravating to see giant squid popping up out of nowhere and creatures showing up to the extent that it becomes ridiculous.

Yes, this is meant to be a free-form roleplay. For the most part, anything goes, but keep it at least somewhat flowing and pertaining to what is going on. It makes me think you have no idea what true roleplaying is, which is sad.

4) or 5)... Oh whatever.. #) This is a roleplay. I know we're used to just talking, but try to keep it full sentences, with some detail to spelling and grammar. Most of us freak out about it when we AREN'T roleplaying, so it should be fairly easy to keep under control.



I know I'm getting eccentric about this. But where I come from (In the roleplaying sense) everything that I'm requested could be considered part of the tacit agreement of roleplaying. No one has to define these rules, they're assumed to be there and to be enforced. This is normal to me.

So! What is this, a good idea? A horrible idea? I think it could be really fun. Especially since I'm already visualizing a Sims 2 house that I could model after the house and take pictures of and then put on the thread. ^_^

(I'll go ahead and start.)

It was 8:00am and Takashi's eyes opened with a grown at the brightness of the morning sun. He sat up in his bed waiting for his eyes to adjust to the light and heard that some people were already up making breakfast. Getting up and turning on his radio to the Bubba the Love Sponge show and walking to his closet to deside what to wear for the day he decided to go with his black Death Note shirt and a black pair of cargo pants.

Walking from his room to the bathroom, his red hair in a mess he spoted Pojo on the stairs in his cow pj's and couldn't help but laugh. He used the bathroom and did his hair back in a ponytail and walked down to greet the others in the kitchen, grabbing a plate and fixing himself some peanut butter waffles and juice. He walked to the tv room and turned on the news and saw the usual footage of the Gaza strip being bombed and President Bush being his normal self sitting infrount of the cameras.

"We have to stay the course." he said. "We are making progress and I have no plans to leave Iraq." this being followed by protesters throwing their shows at him and Takashi busted out laughing.

"Take that you stupid redneck!"

diaper degraw woke up and changed his wet diaper then went down the hall waving at pojo and peachy then walked down the stairs said hi to tashaki and went outside to play.

NoobSauce walked outside in a t-shirt and jeans, long hair flared in a nonexistant breeze. Under the t-shirt there was a shadow of a bandage, though whether that was chest-binding material or just an undershirt no one seemed to know.
"Stupid hair won't stay down," the person remarked.

Talula, the slightly eccentric, always-seems-to-be-around-but-doesnt-actually-live-here Aunt, cheerfully came in the door with a wave to NoobSauce and threw herself on the sofa next to Takashi.

"Hey give us some of that waffle" she says cheekily, and reaches over to pinch a bit.

Mesmerale yawned as she started to wake up that morning. The sound of Takashi laughing was her first sensory input for the day. She sighed as she slid out of bed and walked to her closet, her feet shuffling against the soft indigo carpet that was her floor. She opened her closet slowly, her reaction time dulled by her "just-woken-up" state of mind. After staring into the void for a few minutes, she finally pulled out a dark pink shirt and a dark purple skirt. After setting the clothing down on the counter next to her, she stuck her thumbs into the band of her pajama pants and pulled them down to her ankles, then kicked them off. As she straightened back up, she lifted her head and noticed a circle of light in the closet, "What the..." she muttered to herself as she moved closer to the small beam. "Hey!" she growled once she'd realized what it was. Someone had drilled a hole into her room!

after being at the park for a while diaper degraw came back and herd mesmerale shuffeling around and went to say hi and saw a hole in the wall in the hall by mesmerales room and thought to tell her so he knocked

Mesmerale turned her head towards her closed, but unlocked door when she heard the knocking, "Hold on!" she called as she hurried to pick up and then put on her skirt. She sighed as she stumbled over her own feet, almost falling on her face, "Ah!" she could feel herself blushing after she'd shrieked.

NoobSauce floated over to the door to see what the commotion was about. NoobSauce took a look at diaper_degraw and then at the door, then jumped a bit when the door opened to reveal Mesmerale.
"You okay?" NoobSauce asked.
