This space for rent

Ok, I'm gonna come straight out and say it! I have never rp'd before. Ever.
I really really admire everyone who does, and especially those who do it well. I like to look through the old rp threads and see what fun things people have, and I really really wanna be like you *hums jungle book a bit* But i just cant. How do i do it? What do i write? Why, when i start a post in an rp thread, am i overcome by a crippling shyness that I'm doing it completely wrong? That everyones gonna laugh at me? that im following the wrong story line? Please please please, can anyone give me any hints or tips, or even just some reassurance? Thanks in advance! xxx |

Exactly like that.
But the role-play format thing doesn't work if you don't know how to role-play, Candyman. I knew how, I was just out of practice. Neonite's said what I believe in: Role-playing is just multiple people writing the same story from a specific point of view.

All roleplay threads on ADISC are shit.
If you want to learn how to roleplay well join a decent community based solely on roleplaying/the discussion of. However, if you're so fond of mediocrity it doesn't require much imaginative effort on your part to join in. The hysteria is unnecessary. |

I will raise the roleplaying forum on this site to at least a decent level, okay? Give me time. |
