is this a good plan for college?

i want to be a chef, so i am tking culinary classes in my high school and i'm getting involved in the technology center, but my plan for college is this: go to a culinary college(preferibly the culinary institue of america) the secure a job cooking to work my way through traditional college, is this a good plan?

It's probably better than what most people do. You should probably talk it over with a counselor, as they can really help you out.

Sounds like a better plan than cooking at a fast food restaurant and trying to go to school, you have goals and know how to work toward them, I would say go for it.

Sounds a hell of a lot better than what most people do.

My plan is to first get a Masters Degree in Counseling, then end up getting a Bachelors Degree in Illustration. That way I can have a stable job (hopefully...) and maybe even end up doing what I love the most on top of that!
