It's fine to make a mistake, not being from the UK, I wouldn't expect you to know. Off the rails our country may be going (depending on who you talk to) however I don't believe we celebrate anarchy or treason .....yet.

I hope everyone else had fun with their fireworks and bonfires, I certainly did.

note: giving others a running commentary on what chemicals are present in each firework to give their colour, is generally not appreciated.

That seems what the movie wanted from what I thought. Most people including myself in my area never even heard of Guy Fawkes until the movie came out which wasn't even about him. Eitherway killing the head of the government isn't always a good thing, there will always be those that want the person dead, those that simply don't care and those that fully support the head of state.

I never seen a page about guy fawkes or his plot in any of the history books I had thought schooling. Then again I am in the USA and we only care about our history, my world history classes were shit and it was still mainly US centric. Asides for the ancient world history class which was about Egypt and alexander's empire, etc.
