I'd like to put a remotely positive spin on this, but honestly, OP's posting style...needs help...desperately.

I be thrilled if he contributed to our community with thoughtful, legible posts and threads, given his apparent enthusiasm, but he hasn't really done this at all.

Posts like this tilt me: Who would become incontinent if you could? Why post just to say...nothing?

ADISC is happy to have anybody, but there are certain expectations of basic maturity and thoughtfulness that are critical to any well-functioning online community. If OP wants to meet those expectations, we will accept him with open arms; if not, then, well, we won't reject him, but neg-rep and moderated posting exist exactly for the purpose of weeding out objectionable posting behavior.

The posts I saw of yours were so along the lines of "ZOMG! DIAPERS!" That I frankly stopped reading your posts after reading just a handful of them. It fairly easy to regain any rep you have lost if you looked at the community we have here and reacted to it accordingly.

Regaining rep actually isn't that easy at least form my experience. People don't give much rep out I think and the ones that do are stiffled by the "you already gave rep to this person, you need to spread it around to others before you can rep ______ again."

I know thats to help against abuse of the rep system, but sometimes its like I give someone +rep 2 months ago and then say today I go back and try to give them rep either positive or negative and it says I still got to spread it around.I heard others complaining about this too.

Also I think another problem is the people who get the most rep are actually the regular users, of course that might be due to them being ya know.. regulars. But still its not like we give much + rep to "newbies" unless they make really good posts right off the bat.

Of course another thing to know is that diaper centric posts most likely will only ever see negative rep if anything unless someone links to a really good deal for say like Abena or bambinos. Hell most rep comes from topics outside the realms of diaper and babyish stuff I bet.

(I know this was off-topic but really, nothing else has been really productive in this topic has it?)

The reason you were neg-repped was because you created 17 threads that were pretty much the same. Yeah, there was some variation, but when you look at pretty much every topic, it was something like this: Incontinent, Diapers, 24/7.

The point of this site is not just to talk about diapers, and ABs, and mommies, etc. Sure, we have 4 sub-forums related to diapers, but it's not the only thing we do here. The Mature Topics and Off-Topic forums almost never contain anything about diapers. (There are a few exceptions, of course. ) This isn't DailyDiapers, or ABY, or... *thinks of another site*... You get the point. We're different.

Anyways, if you want to leave, go right ahead. Nobody is going to stop you.

By the way, the 'cooling off' period is used when people want to leave when they are going through a serious purging stage. It has stopped some pretty good users from leaving just because they were frustrated with their diaper situation.

Oh, and one more thing. Nobody likes a dramatic "I'm leaving!" thread. All these will get you are insults, harsh words, and likely negative reputation. Just a little tip.
