Deejays are now part of this discussion as I have now decided...
Afterall, DJs play gigs and gigs are for musicians. ![]() Not that anyone was debating that we aren't musicians, but some people do. So. I DJ. I sing (in a band). I drum (not in a band). Can still play the tenor sax (a little bit). And so in my "instrument repertoire" I have... 2 CDJ800 digital turntables. DJM700 mixer. 2 STR8.150s turntables. 2 SRM450 loudspeakers. A Shure PG58 radio mic. And...lots of cables n stuff? And not a single bloody musical instrument! Woohoo! You could join Alvin & The Chipmunks? Or even these guys!

I've always been told that I have musical talent. Too bad I'm lazy and haven't really done much with it. I like to play around with music for shorter periods at a time though. That and just jamming with friends. As for gear, hardware:
A cheap Cort strat knock-off with a Peavey Rage 158 amp and a Line 6 POD 2.0. A Yamaha APX-500 electric acoustic with a Squire SA-10 amp. A Squire J-Bass with a Fender Rumble 15 amp. A MXL 990 condenser mic. A M-Audio Oxygen8 V2 USB MIDI keyboard. A Line 6 Toneport UX2. And Software: Propellerhead Reason 4.0 (can't wait for them to release Record). Line 6 GearBox. Apple Garage Band. Korg DS-10 (for my Nintendo DS). LSDJ and Nanoloop (for my Gameboy emulator). |

I play guitar, bass, snare and violin. I know a few things on piano but don't play it as such. I own three guitars, one bass, one amp, two violins, one snare drum, several drum sticks, a keyboard and multiple effects units for my guitars. I teach guitar on the side too.
Edit: I play guitar in a band too. |
