For a few months, we've been running a test where some members were able to see reputation (rep) given on posts, within the following limits:
  1. Only positive rep is visible. Neutral and negrep is not visible.
  2. Rep can be reported (by anyone who can see it). Reported rep no longer appears unless it is subsequently confirmed as valid by a mod. In this case, when it reappears, it no longer has a report button.


This update has two goals:
  1. To encourage people to use the rep system more. If you see a good post with no green box on it, that means it is up to you to rep it!
  2. To encourage people to report invalid rep. If you see a post with rep that doesn't deserve that rep, that means it is up to you to report it!
