Well, pretty mellow day. I posted for a while on my favorite forums, which include BigSoccer and CysticFibrosis.com. While at the latter, I learned of a very close call, which still may not work out. "Pepe", a young woman with CF, went into complete pulmonary failure a couple of days ago. She was put on an ECMO machine, which apparently breathes for her (anybody know about this?), up to about 10 days, which is not much time. Well...her new lungs were available 8 hours later, and she went...
