I always wear nappies and they are very professional at the security. I never had problems while flying. Some airports have even adult changing facilities. Just wear and don’t stress about it. Any nervous behaviour can trigger with security that they have more interest in you.

Hello all, I'm a man of nearly 40 and often incontinent due to hypermobility (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) and an undiagnosed muscle disease. I am wheelchairbound to the combination of different disabilities. I rely on diapers 24/7 for the last 20 years and I am alright with that.

I travel quite a lot every year. I have always some diapers in my hand luggage and put always a whole bag in my suitcase. Whenever I stay longer as a few days, I simply order online diapers and let them deliver in my hotel room, which have never been a problem.

I would wait until your mother asks you about it. When she does, just be honest. Remember it isn't a crime when you are using diapers whatever the reason.
