Your post in the time machine thread made me smile and laugh. Don't meddle! :P

I sent a friend request...always nice to meet other believers on here. I work full time in church ministry and it's a wonderful thing -- challenging sometimes with this part of my life but I'v learned to come to terms with it pretty well and I actually think I have more compassion and kindness for it...

Over here at the churches I attend we call "praise bands" "the worship team". I imagine playing every weekend would build your musical abilities quite a lot, though I suppose the selection of music is a bit limited at times. Kudos.

Also "The Steve Freeman Band" huh? Impressive feat there! I can't say I've ever played for more than 20 people at a time, whereas you've gone in front of 20,000. Wow.

I am primarily a guitar person, so I primarily use mine for recording since it often takes some time to get a few tricky bars right, from which I can modify things afterwards digitally. A synth can add an awful lot to most genres of music, which is why I like mine.

As for playing live, perhaps if I actually played my Korg more (Eg: Outside of recording.) I could play it live in front of an audience as opposed to during jam sessions with friends...

The M1 was the great break through keyboard. My 88 keyboard is the Korg T1. They added the B sounds to the M1, which by the way, are very nice, and I think, more densely sampled, at least on the T1.

Oh they most certainly are, though in the end I end up resampling the resulting MIDI into a higher-quality S3M file which allow me to modify instruments and make tweaks quite nicely I think...

The M1 may have lost some of it's sheen, though I still make use of mine every now and then.
