    Omptimising usage

Simple - remove your diaper. cut off used portion and discard. Remove surrounding outer flaps/material and cut slits in outer covering. Now you have a full size booster for your next overnight use. Been doing this for over 11 years.

Oatmeal in diaper. You gotta try it!

I use oatmeal occasionally, not so much to simulate messing, but to facilitate healing if I have a serious rash. This can be the most soothing solution to a serious issue. I fill my diaper with the oatmeal and take a long nap. After clean up and a shower the result is amazing; the rash is...

    Calling all Musicians!

My father was a drummer during the Big Band Era. My parents fostered my love of music. Every birthday from toddler-hood to my preteen years, I received a musical gift. My father would tell me stories about big band greats and had a plethora of Clarinet and sax recordings to share. He said he...

    Baby Bottles

I usually use wide mouth Glass Bottles. Born Free, Dr. Browns, Avent, but sometimes go back to vintage Evenflow and Gerber Glass bottles because that is what I had as a baby.

Using a diaper as a stuffer

I use scissors to cut small v cuts about 1 inch apart across the diaper field. I cut the outer non- absorbant material from around the diaper.

Do you prefer tape or pants style diapers?

I use both kinds at every diaper change. Sometimes if I am going out I use 2 pull-up with booster or male guards modified inside the first pull-up diaper with slits to aliow leakage to go through if I have an accident.

    Getting Rid of Small Diapers....

BigKid25 - I don't know if racks your sensibilities - but if I were you I would modify all of them as Diaper Booster pads. Cut the non-absorbent sides, top and bottom off the diapers. Cut slits in the outer layer covering to allow for urine to pass to the diaper you place them into. You will...

    Question - booster

Commercially made stuffers/boosters are made to let liquid flow into and through to the primary outer diaper. Boosters substancially increase the capacity of your diaper. There are numerous boosters available to the diaper wearer. At times I use a real "prefolded cloth baby diaper, such as a...

    diapers per day

I have 2-3 changes per day. I use average of 4 diapers per change, so 8 - 12 diapers per day. Cost runs .15-.25 per diaper, so .60 - $1.0 per change/$3.00 day

NJ and OR illegal to pump fuel???

I have lived in Oregon for over 36 years; absolutely against the law. The station can be fined $10,000 per occurrence, so for the sake of the station, do not pump your own. I am sure the law is on the books for environmental reasons.

    YOUR Stash!

Just added 60 more adult diapers (briefs) and 255 overnight protective underwear (pull-ups) to my stash for $75 for a net cost of less than 24 cents per garment. As I use protective underwear and two briefs as my boosters and use one brief for my actual outer diaper, a complete diaper change...
