    It's SO hot out already and the day hasn't started!

    In July of '83, Dad and I flew a Cessna 206 into Fort St. John...and it was blistering hot. To make matters odd, we were told by the tower to go-around for no reason but we did...and our fuel pump died just after touchdown. Scary, huh? 😲

    Sounds very scary!!!! Glad it happened after though obviously.

    Mostly just driving around today so the a/c is on 😁

    We made it off the runway, coasted a bit...came 300 feet short of the GA parking area, had to push the 206 in by hand. Lost over 3 hours in rebuilding the fuel pump; luckily, the FBO had a kit...and we fixed it and were off to Prince George.
