lol! the AMF was my first and was actually rideable as a bike.
  4. Yeah I went down from Orange County with my brother who had an extra pass. Halestorm was a treat to see as well, very entertaining. I hope they stick around for a long time.

I watched the Volbeat set from Hellfest on Youtube and it seemed they got less time at that one; they didn't play Hallelujah Goat or Guitar Gangsters but then again we didn't get Maybelline
  5. Saw Volbeat on Saturday down in Chula Vista, eh? You got to see Halestorm as well (one of the bands I have really come to love, have met them a few times now, really great people). I used to live in Point Loma my last couple years of high school, so know the area.
  6. Like the Black Bart avatar--just saw Volbeat play on Sunday at the Aftershock festival in Sacramento, they were absolutely amazing!!!

I don't think I have heard of Piaggio before. I had a 79 Garelli and an 81 AMF Roadmaster. I miss the Garelli VIP

Q: what do Scientology and a diaper have in common?

by MOPaddED on 24-Mar-2015 at 03:03
OK so much for my clever title! Been away far too long though not for lack of desire. I've been mainly self-imposing a moratorium on diapers until it's more financially feasible, not wearing for wearing's sake so much and stretching a bag for several weeks. Since about Christmas, nearly every spare dollar has been detoured to more important areas like holiday and birthday gifts, then my vehicle had developed a series of mechanical issues that have conspired to keep me in the hole for about another

Still on this side of the dirt

by MOPaddED on 01-Mar-2014 at 20:27
It took an Email that I had a PM to get me back to the atmosphere. It started out as a dry spell at the local thrift shop circuit - I gave up on 1 Goodwill after 4 trips of nothing usable on the shelf. Then every store I went to if they even had any Mediums they were all cloth-backed and I got so sick of it I ended up getting a bag just to have something.

Meanwhile before I could plan for my next stash I sat down and did the math for how much $ I would need to build another structure

Well, the Zoloft doesn't seem to be kicking in

by MOPaddED on 05-Dec-2013 at 03:30
A month ago I abruptly left my living arrangements that were griefing me a great deal to find myself feeling as depressed and confused as ever. After witnessing something unfold with a fellow ADISC 'sister' (I'd hope to think & would be honoUred and what they were going through with their RL family it led me to question whether I acted rashly by running out on my mother & brother and taking up with my dad & stepmom who have told me more than once that I am loved here unconditionally

Flown The Coop

by MOPaddED on 03-Nov-2013 at 01:09
During the Vietnam war, a general was to have said "In order to save the village we had to destroy it" - it would sum up the same as my relationship with my mother and brother, only I don't think there's ever been much to save but my sanity.

I screwed up - I got tired of the putdowns, being talked about like I wasn't even in the room, the being constantly accused of lying, the being taken advantage of financially and emotionally, the insinuations that my best would never

Under Reconstruction

by MOPaddED on 27-Jul-2013 at 01:44
As Jim Morrison said: "been down so G.D. long, that it looks like up to me"

Due in a large part to my inability to relate and articulate to family I'd been in a 'fight or flight' mode for the better part of the year. I was readying myself for a stealthy exit where I was gonna be free and happy, and they weren't going to have me there to kick around anymore.

Then my ticket out of hell got cancelled; I replaced a crucial engine part in my vehicle and while
