That is terrifically awesome, bean! It does remind me... when I would dance for hours at the clubs... Anyway, it gives me great happiness to hear of these blossoming times for you! My best'est!:cloud9: -Marka

I do look forward to it! You rather explained a bit of my experiences lately too... It really seems quite a new phase to life in these past few weeks or so especially... -Marka

Oh! I owe you so much better than this yet, this'll have to do until you can be better paid! My thoughts are with you beanie-baby, I do so wish you well! For now... -Marka
No need to apologise - we all have hectic times, and nobody would expect you to put notifying people on ADISC above dealing with important personal issues! I'm glad you had a lovely Christmas and that the wedding was nice. Where did it take place?

My Christmas was good, thanks. Had both of my brothers staying, then we went over to my Dad's on Christmas Day. Was quite low-key, but really nice to all spend time together. Life in general is alright, thanks. Nothing exciting to report, really - just plodding along as usual. :)

They are reminiscent of orchids though... aren't they? Well, at least some Orchids produce the vanilla bean (have I lost my mind?)... never thought of a connection between the two, prior to now though... :chin: Anyway, please know... I/we don't expect perfection... most of us are acutely aware of the human proclivities and upsets... If you're living and learning... you're doing it right... I do have a bias of sorts that relates to a particular fondness of you, I can't entirely explain (I shall hope you don't require an explanation)... anyway, I'm regarded as pretty intuitive... I believe that you are a kindred spirit... I would only ask that you don't bar yourself, anymore than you'd have any of us bared... Si? -Marka

We had some family-heirloom red-runners to propagate... unfortunately, they were still too close to another variety.. and got cross-pollinated a few years ago... Still made for tasty legumes, yet the strain was lost...

Beanie!! When I saw the notification was a visitor message... I so hoped it was you! ... and I am rewarded! Look, I understand stuff happens... but, please don't you go letting guilt (of all freaken things)... be what keeps you away! You're preaching to the choir about life's tricksies... I shall never fault another that... Now I forget, what'd I think it was... an orchid? I should know a red-runner... my eye-sight's not so good though... ;) I'm doing as well as can be had for now... always room for improvement, yet always things could be much worse... that's how I temper it... talk soon! -Marka

beanie-baby... Have I missed a memo foretelling your extended absence? In fairness, hours go by like days, and days go by like hours... for me... time is relative but, I have become concerned... That's a nice orchid... I'll be pleased to know of your wellness and return...

Bean! Sorry for the preposterously slow reply - I've barely been on ADISC during the past couple of weeks. I usually use pie-crust for Empanadas. Made my own dough a couple times, but it's a bit of an effort! Saltenha sounds delicious, not anything I've come across. Definitely let me know if you find a good recipe for them, as it sounds like something I'd like to make as well! :)

How's your Christmas been anyway, bud?

I know a few beans in this community, but are you the Bean I think you are?
Probably Empanadas de Carne. They're usually made with beef, but I prefer to do them with pork. Yourself? :)

Thanks! All is well, much storm debris... and not a lot of rest... no heavy conversations for my head to try to work out for now ;) The second and 3rd 'leg' of that particular weather-system was pretty heavy... the latter anyway, made landfall in Northern California, and worked it's way up the West Coast... all the way into BC, Canada and beyond... my area was relatively spared from the predicted wind speeds, and flooding-washouts,... from what many other areas did get! Luck of the draw! :sleep1: -Marka
