  1. haha thanks! We get to choose our gym clothers over here(within reason, nothing too risqué. Even though girls tend to wear barely anything and boys wear long shorts and ripped up shirts :P) and we dont have proper gym clothes until we are eleven or twelve.

And God created Nanny...

by BabyArtie on 30-May-2012 at 20:06
This is the first in what may turn out to be a short series of postings about AB nannies and (in some cases) my experiences of them. It is rather specifically British in its outlook - I've been to America exactly once (on a 5-day work trip which did not offer me the opportunity to explore the AB scene).

The days between dad's death and the funeral were the worst. We were all wondering exactly what to do next. Obviously no-one wanted to start the round of phone calls to banks, credit cards, phone etc, but aside from setting

I don't know whether starting blogging with something like this is the appropriate thing to do or not, but here goes anyway...

I'm just home having rushed away a fortnight ago. I mentioned up in the mature topics forum that the doctors thought my dad had cancer: it turned out they were right. It wasn't in his lung, but in the sac that surrounds it, so they couldn't operate: all they could offer was chemo. Fifteen days ago he went in for his first (as it turned out his only) session.
