Hi! And I woke up not too long ago so things are... well sleepy.
    S
    My Lord, you lucky duck!
    S
And I love the Stones and I do not believe I've heard that Coltrane song. o:
    S
Wow, excellent! And I'm sure since you're already inclined with woodwinds you could probably pick sax up easily.
    S
Well I don't usually listen to saxophone-esque things. I mainly lust like indie and new wave music to be honest.
    S
Well... vaguely I think. I am not into that type of music believe it or not, I mainly enjoy saxophones being used in different types of music ironically. Or just orchestrally.
    S
Well when I grow older and am not sick most of my time I plan to become a multi-instrumentalist.
However, I can play tenor saxophone quite fluently.
No problem. The irony was absolutely epic, so had to mention it.
You were so thorough all the way through - such a shame you fell at the last hurdle/sentence! :tongueout:
Never mind, it can be rectified now before everyone sees it and thinks you a fraud with no idea of what he is talking about :tongueout:

Oh dear! What help do you need? Is it a very long and complicated thread? hehe, well I hope it is worth the wait anyway... *waits eagerly*

Not at all, but I do happen to live on the coast. :( Southeastern NC.

Oh man the Fender is amazing. The tone is always perfect and even though it looks torn to shreds it still screams. It's not a "road-worn", it actually WAS worn out over time. This thing has been through a lot of damage and has been repaired multiple times before I bought it off my uncle. Most of it is original except the bridge which was taken off of a Mexican strat. I'm not a big Fender fan either but my uncle made me a deal and sold it to me for $200. Probably the best playing guitar I own and I swear by it.

I feel that listening and watching other people play can teach you a lot. I know that when I 'Jam' with my uncle or my friends that I feel like I'm putting my heart and soul into what I'm playing. People always tell me how good I am but I never believe it.

I'll take a few snaps of the Strat later and maybe try to record a sample of my play to show you what level I'm on. :)

Oh I see, that's great. My uncle is pushing me into gigging with his band. I'm a bit nervous about playing in front of an audience. :c

I have a mid-70's American strat, a Martin Stinger, and a few acoustics including an Ibanez GA5TCE-14-01.
I've just gotten the feel of scales and I'm starting to write my own stuff.

    Are you self-taught?
    S
Hahaha, yes. I've been playing for 4 years and mostly play blues and progression, with a mix of classical and video game soundtracks. I actually transcribe my own versions of video game songs. :3 I'm a nerd.

What do you play? And what kind of guitar?
