I saw the title and I thought, oh yeah, wait till you hear about my room mate....no...no, no, no. Apparently he was an angel. I think I would have shot this guy. One has to ask, what the hell was the college doing about this!!!

I don't understand why he wouldn't call the landlord on the guy, or report the drug stuff to the cops or something. Nor do I get why he cleaned up after him, or tolerated any of that. Yeah, cheap rent is great, but when your property and phsycial well being are in danger, maybe it's not worth it, I dunno.

It really seems like that the guy who wrote this is leaving something out though, either that or I just really can't understand what he was thinking by not doing more about the ridiculousness of his roommate.

Who brings a dead cat into the flat and then forget about it?
Surely after a while you'd just leave or something, who'd want to live in that situation. Or have him arrested for some of the stuff he did.

Wow, that guy was messed up. My security system would have included a shotgun in that case, and a cable hooked up to a car battery, plus razor wire arround the doors. I might also want a seperate oxygen supply, going ten feet into the air so he cant shit in it. That has to be the absolute worst roommate ever...

Leaving his shit everywhere, in the light fixtures and on the STOVE?!? And that dead cat he left in the oven for a frickin WEEK!? What.. The.. F***..

I would never get myself in that situation to begin with. Of my five roommates, only one was not already a friend, and I put him through a grueling interview and round of Smash Bros 64 to test his temper. Supposing he did drugs, I would have sent incriminating pictures to my dad and landlord and anyone I can think of within about 3 days.

I was never an assistant manager to an apartment complex, so my tolerance of roommates would not extend to cleaning others' shit. I'd do vomit and piss, but not shit. So in many ways I can respect his patience, but he was risking his health in many, many ways, and I'm glad the reality was reflected in the story as his foot injuries and infected forehead cut.
