According to dictionary.com, Pornography refers to "Books, photographs, magazines, art, or music designed to excite sexual impulses and considered by public authorities or public opinion as in violation of accepted standards of sexual morality." So, yes, if it's meant to get you off, then its under that definition, it is pornographic in nature. I, personally, don't think it should be considered that way. I'm not so sure that its one of those things that is likely to fuck you up for the rest of your life, but it certainly isn't right to take picture of kids in such a manner. However, what ever floats your boat, and as long as you aren't the one doing the pictures.

On the man's eternal quest for porn, I've definitely seen kids in diapers...clearly meant as porn. No thanks.
On the other hand, it is definitely not always porn, just as adults in diapers isn't always porn. People can use pretty much anything as porn providing they have the proper interests. But sometimes it's meant to be, and when it comes to things like kids in it, I personally find it more than a bit disgusting. |

I say yes if the reason the picture was taken/posted is for the explicate purposed of promoting sexual arousal/behavior. That clearly is child pornography and those people need to be caught.
However, people take pictures of their kids all the time and post them online. I don't think that that constitutes child pornography. In saying this though; People need to be more aware of their pictures. They need to restrict downloads on their galleys or make them password protected to keep unwanted individuals out. I think the problem is that people aren't tech literate enough to fully understand the sweeping consequences of posting pictures openly on the internet. Edit - matrix got his post in a little bit quicker than I did |

When the pictures are looked at in a sexual way or are meant to be sexual, then yes, it is child pornography. However, if it's just a picture of a cute little kid or something in a medical guide, it is not considered pornography...until somebody jacks off to it. Then you can say it's porn.
