I expect her to run for nomination when the time comes.

Despite an awful lot of flaws and rather worrying policy vagueness, she's the only person the Republicans have who can even think of coming close to Obama in terms of media profile. She'll probably write a book or two, get around the country and keep on the rolling news channels to keep her status up over the next couple of years. She'll then declare that she's going to run in some earthy, earnest-seeming way when all the other candidates underwhelm and the conservative talking heads are calling for her - 'I didn't plan on it but felt compelled to serve for the good of the party' or some such.

Not sure whether she'll actually stand a good chance, mind. I expect her novelty value will have waned by the time it counts and and she's never going to have a broad appeal outside her base so unless Obama manages to alienate the middle ground badly - and he's too savy to do that - I don't see W.'s spiritual successor in the White House in 2014. Maybe she'd be better advised to wait out his two terms.

This only confirms what I thought about her all along: She's a normal, real person. No one in their right mind would want to be President.

Children, dogs, guns, the Presidency...... those who want them the most are precisely the people who shouldn't have them.

Plain won't stand a chance.

Obama has already shown that you have to win the non-white vote to win the nation. Palin will never do that because she is too much of a WASP.

Have people actually taken the time to listen to all of her interviews? She is absolutely clueless as to how the world works outside of her little snow-globe in Alaska. I would litterally be in fear for my life if she was the one with her finger on the red button.

The Katie Couric interviews were rather uncomfortable to watch. The Vice Presidential debate too. I thought Joe Biden was debating a weather forecaster.
