It sucks that the media in general destory lives for ratings which generate income. It's happened with Palin, it's happened with jon and kate gosslien, it's happened with britney spears its happened with micheal jackson. All for ratings, all for money.

My question is why did palin matter so damn freaking much after the election? No one cared a flying you know what about her before then and she tried going back to normal as soon as Obama won the election. Yet the media kept hounding her on everyday things we all do, why the hell do people like david letterman need to joke about her going to a yankee's game and about her kids being raped? I am pretty sure no one even knew she was at the game before David Letterman made a comment about it.


Any in case this one is for you media, thank you for destorying lives for profit. Your very much like the bush admin that "kills for oil". Only you don't use guns to do it.

Also I think it's insane to think this is a setup for running in 2012 for president, frankly I wouldn't support her to be president since she has as much experience as Obama and I don't think like 2-4 years as governor, mayor or senator is really enough experience to pretty much be the figurehead for the whole world. Plus if she does run in 2012 she will be hounded for leaving her office in the middle of the term and she buckled under pressure. Is that presidental worthy?

I don't see how Sara Palin has any blame to take over then she stated her views on many issues, which we do here all of the time. Not everyone is going to agree with her ideas or even valves but that's no reason to attack someone and make up slander on the person.

She surely isn't, but she felt as if she had to step down as governor of the largest state in the country to protect her family from it.

I don't think the media had anything to do with it. Also, square mileage not that important. One would be foolish to think she is done with politics. And trust me, she did not ruin her career. She's got a long road ahead, but it will be a successful one. Even if she never runs for office again (and I think she will). she's going to have a career in the party, in the private sector.

Name one legitimate reason to hate her? Or does everyone who makes insults get their pre-formulated opinions from the media? Think about that. Why are people so acerbic towards the Alaskan senator? In an unbiased way, I think we are being unfair to the Republican Party. As a person, she has intelligence and compassion.

I pretty much already asked that and all I got is people dislike her views and ideals. I dislike Obama's views and ideals but I won't complain about those, I'll only complain about his actions or lack of actions as the situation dictates. As for Palin she's a far better governer then arnold here in California. I think Palin could really help settle our budget crisis, the one we had every single year for like the past 10 years!

Political arguments aside, the joke he made was in immensely poor taste. Being a comedian requires a certain amount of couth and discipline, and Dave clearly let his own personal feelings bleed through into his humor. His apology, though, was a very smart move.
