It all depends on attitude, it will be whatever you let it be. If you let it be a hassle then it will be a hassle. Me? I'd like to experiment with 24/7 for a bit, but I'd never continue on my own. It'd be much easier knowing there's a caregiver willing to help you out than to go through the hassle of doing everything yourself. 24/7, I see it as mainly a group effort, 2 ppl have to be willing to cooperate. It's not really a good idea for going solo as doing stuff on your own is harder than having help.

Like a lot of people have said, it's a mindset thing. Like mind over matter, if you don't mind, it doesn't matter, LOL!
But seriously, when I first became incontinent, I really liked wearing them. I've always liked the feeling of a thick diaper. Now that I've been this way for over 5 years, I have a love/hate relationship with them. I still love the feeling, but I hate having to deal with the messy ones. If I had someone to take care of them for me, I'm sure I would feel differently.
I use cloth diapers, and can change one in a very short time as long as it's not messy, and I do it standing up too, I've found that to be the best way if you have to do it yourself. And as previously mentioned, it's just routine now.
I didn't vote either because there isn't a selection for like and dislike, (love/hate).

I agree with what you said totally, RICKY. I am posting here because I haven't posted enough for the private messages yet. I have been in diapers since I was hit by a car 30 years ago. Incontinence and epilepsy are my main problems but there are several more.

It took a long time to except having to wear diapers 24/7, For the first 25 years I wore disposables which were supplied by the VA, But for the last 5 years I have been wearing cloth diapers and plastic pants.

Yes I really enjoy the feeling of a fresh diaper with plenty of baby powder under my plastic pants to keep them comfortable. I wear 3 overnight cloth diapers at night and 2 diapers during the day. I have been wearing diapers so long now I would not feel dressed not having them on.

I have found by wearing loose fitting shorts over my diapers and a long t-sirt, that I can go and do anything I want to do and not worry about my diapers. The only times to worry is when I don't have one on or the diaper is in need of changing.
