I too have been all over the web trying to understand my incontinence. What has been given here has been really good. Trying to what the world thinks is right, I went to my urologist for my problem and after some test gave me a sample of Detrol LA to try. I read all the side effects and the one side effect that the Dr. said was possible for me, but wasn't listed was the fact that it could stop me from going pee all togther. I thought no big deal till a week later, I am in the E.R. late at night having a foley catheter inserted because I hadn't peed all day.

Medication isn't always the answer. I am liking my diapers more and more each day now.

Gotta love drugs where the side-effects are worse than the problem they are treating.
