Yes.... It helps tremendously. (Although I usually use that shower nair stuff. It works really good... and it might just be me. I also don't have the uncomfortableness of it when it is growing back. I also only have to do it maybe 2-4 weeks.

But I notice a huge different. I am only incontinent at night (for the most part... of those of you who know my condition a little while ago). In the mornings I wake up and shower... and if I my hair down there is out of control the smell still can linger there even after a good showering. So I definitely keep it the hair gone or very short.

You will notice a difference.

For me, I keep it shaved all off. I have found that it does help on smell and clean up. Also when I use diaper cream or ointment also helps keeps the odors down because it keeps the skin from absorbing pee. I only shave about 2 to 3 times a week. Since I have been doing it so long, I don't have or feel the itchy feeling when it starts to grow out.

For me keeping clean and very low odor is very important and willing to do what it takes to make it that way.

I have tried one time an I don't remember the brand. It's working, but my skin got burned because this part of the body is very sensible and it was very painful.

Maybe you should try with a product for those sensitives parts of the body and maybe you will not get the pain I have suffer... but it's working.

I keep it trimmed real short with the trimmer on my electric shaver. The first couple of times it's a little nerve wracking, but with a little practice you get used to it.
I find it really helps to keep odours from lingering, and cleaning the area is much easier.

I only use those, although I don't remove hair down there often. There are some bad brands, especially in the USA (or so I've heard), but if you can get your hands on Pilca (German brand, the company GlaxoSmithKline seems to be active in America, though) you have some pretty mild stuff. Whereas Veet for Men and normal Veet really burned if you applied it a few minutes longer than they tell you to (because hair down there is usually thicker than normal hair), that Pilca stuff doesn't and smells a bit better. Using alot and using your hand every few minutes to smear the creme around makes it easier to stay within the allowed timeframe, too.

The package states that it is ok to use it for hair removal in your "bikini area", but I guess they didn't intend it to be used on exterior genitalia, so it's probably untested what it does to you if used often and over long periods. I probably would not risk using it when planning for a baby.
Veet and other brands usually aren't meant at all for that area, btw.

Don't wear a diaper/don't clean that area with soap/don't do anything stressing with your skin after hair removal, as it usually stings when you apply anything afterwards. You don't get as many (maybe even no) ingrown hairs from this stuff as the hairs aren't cut as with razors. For the same reason it's idiotic to finish up with a razor if you happen to remove the creme too early, as you get the worst of both worlds

Cleaning of in the shower is important, you won't get it off properly/fast enough without one. Maybe use some toilet paper to get off most of the stuff, then sit down in the shower and use the shower head, warm water and light rubbing with your hands to get it off you. Sitting down can prevent the creme and removed hair from getting stuck in your leg-hairs if done properly.

During last summer I tried shaving all my pubes. I really don't have that many...lol. It was cool the first couple days then when my hairs started to grow back it was like I was going to itch to death. During the school year there is the problem when you have to undress for PE and you are bald down there. You probably will get a lot of teasing from the other guys too. I thing that if you shower frequently and generally keep yourself clean there shouldn't be much odor, if any. The main problem, as I see it, with odor is when you pee in your diaper and don't change it for a long time, then you have a bad smell of pee. In that case no amount of shaving will prevent the odor.

i shave about 1 to 2 times every 2 weeks. the only part i really don't like is 2 days later when the stubble part starts to itch for a day. the rest of the time it's ok as it starts to grow back. also i don't like to shave every day cuz the razor seem to cut better when it has something to get hold of. also theres less bumps. i have tried all kinds of cremes ans stuff. only learned it was a mistake.

You people should try waxing, it only hurts the first couple of times, and after the hair is alot thinner and less dense, not to mention its lasts alot longer than shaving or cream. Next month I'm taking it to the next level and getting laser hair removal, always been more than a little metro, and like people have been saying, it helps the clean up process.

I prefer not to shave, but to trim w scissors. Whenever I shave, I get very irritated down there. Anyone share the same issue?
