Please don't....as everyone else has said.
It is one thing to actually have a need for diapers, and it is an entirely different thing to flaunt-off what you are wearing. Nobody wants to see you in your diapers, even if they are for need. Would anybody else here just walk around in underwear or boxers at the beach? Probably not. |

Concerning babies: Up to the age of roughly 4 or 5, most kids here just go naked on beaches. I've never heard of anyone feeling offended by little kids who don't conform to general clothing standards. Most people will gladly give kids their freedom and, at best, think back to the times when they didn't have a care in the world. And babies wear diapers - if they're nearby, expect to see a diaper. Kids are restricted enough these days, they sure don't need any more senseless restrictions. Quote:
Ironically, while we can certainly influence how we look to a certain degree (e.g. your weight in relation to your height, so you don't have a beer belly hanging out your swimwear), age is merciless and unstoppable. We displayed the typical behavior of a baby/toddler when we were that young, and will exhibit the typical old people's behavior when we're old. I find it hypocritical to criticize people in a different age group when they do stuff people of that age typically do. Accept it, or don't mingle with them. But, to stay on topic: If you are old enough to be aware of other people's reactions to your clothes, wear something that's considered appropriate. Doesn't have to be the latest popular fashion, but at least something that won't make even the most tolerant of people grab their cell phones and call the cops! Peachy

Is that an issue? From what I know, that hasn't been considered offensive here since roughly 1968...way before I was even born (and breastfed).

The U.S. has different standards than Europe. For some reason, we still are very influenced by the Victorian era. Quite frankly, considering the emphasis on sex in the media, I don't understand our attitudes at all. The human body is what it is, and we all have one.
That being said, I believe that in the U.S., it is illegal to wear just your underwear in public. I suspect diapers would be considered underwear, so wearing only a diaper and plastic pants would probably get you arrested. If you wanted to know, contact your city attorney. I did for use of land when my new idiot neighbor said I couldn't walk across her front yard. It turned out I had a 10' right of way. Someone had said in another thread a while back, that wearing speedos in public in the U.S. had been made illegal, except for legitimate swimming races, etc. Sometimes I just wonder about this country. |

It doesn't sound like a good idea to me either.
it could be considered indecent exposer, I'm not sure, but it's not acceptable for adults or teenagers to walk around in their diapers even if you really need them. wear a bathing suit over it or wear an adult swim diaper. |
