i work concrete construction and privacy is a big issue for me for wearing. also since im moving around a lot at work constantly standing kneeling and climbing, walking around and such sometimes the stuffing falls down in the front of the diaper making it very uncomfortable. sometimes wasting a perfectly good padding with one wetting in it. so weigh your opinions well before you decide to do that, the environment makes the wearing a challenge. each job puts a different environment at you and you have to adapt to it.

i wear diapers 24/7 pullups at work and tape on briefs everywhere else. my parents, husband, and all my friends to include co-workers know and are completely aware of the situation. i went thru all the tests the dr.'s could come up with. some weren't pleasant either. they prescribed five different meds and none of which i can take and function normally. almost stepped out in front of fork lift that was enough for me and threw the meds in the trash. have never looked back. i always had dreams about diapers and now its a stark reality. who knew?

I'm in the same boat. I've worn diapers most of my life and have been 24/7 for a long time. My urge incontinence got much worse after my college years and four knee surgeries. I've been through the Doctor route and given many prescriptions. My body reacts badly to most drugs. There are plenty of things I do every day at work that would simply be impossible for me if I was not diapered. That said I do not go out of my way to tell others. Sure my family knows, but I doubt any of my coworkers or colleagues know. You can be very discreet and the vast majority of people would never know you wear diapers, even if you are surrounded by people who are staring at you. In other words, you don't have to limit your career choices to those where you don't interact directly with people. I get the feeling that some folks think if you wear 24/7 you must be hunched over a computer in a dimly lit basement office interacting with only one or two other office mates. Not the case at all.

Default Honesty?

Honesty and truth can be a grey area.

I take the same perspective as you, Darkfinn, in so much that I have an emotional/mental incontinence; I am always drawn to diapers, despite my efforts to escape them...However, I do not feel that such a thought is honest.

Without lying, what would I say to somebody who would ask about my diapers?
If someone did ask about your diapers, there is no obligation for you to say anything. You could admit to wearing them without letting the person know "why" you wear them. Just make sure that everything you say is truthful and nothing will be false.

Not sure about the legal protections of employees or the rights of employers. You may want to research this further.

Well...Let's simplify this a bit.

You could train to be an astronaut...then you'd get to wear a diaper during launch and re-entry.

Or...better still. You could get into design...clothing design specifically...then maybe get a job working for the companies that make diapers...then you could wear them and say it's for "product evaluation" purposes.

Absolutely true, I love it. Just a quick note, I believe it's usually only those of us that are ABDL that tend to believe people are looking at us and can tell we are wearing. For most people, diapers aren't even on their mind, so they aren't looking at a person and thinking "I wonder if that person wears."

I work a job that has a lot of physical movement and interaction with people. Though I don't wear 24/7, it has always been a question in my mind if I could wear them to work. Honestly, I don't think anyone would notice. (Well, they might notice that I'm not having to go the bathroom every hour or two like I usually do, lol, but that's unlikely).

My opinion: whatever you do, do it confidently. If you treat diaper wearing like it's an everyday thing for you, even if it isn't, then people are bound to believe that you likely need them and are (hopefully) mature enough to not have a problem with it.

Afterall, it's harder to persuade people who *know* you're not incontinent (family and friends) than it is to convince new people who don't know you yet that you need them. The only way it would be suspicious if if you wore some of the time but not all of the time, so be consistent. Hope that helps someone.

I get it Elli...haha. Anyway, our church secretary had a colostomy bag which she would have to change as a result of colon cancer. Everyone knew about it and everyone sympathized with her. There are probably more people in the work place wearing some kind of protection than any of us imagine. If you were to become a lawyer, and would be standing in front of a jury and judge, I just would be very discreet in what I was wearing. No one has to know.
