I quite like football, soccer and hockey, heck, I've gone to see some games in Toronto, Hamilton and some other city's around here. But I've never been able to get into it all that much, probably because I don't have any friends that are really into it, I just know a bunch of crazy Canadian's who like war, shootin people and blowing things up lol. ![]() Quote:

While I've never been that much of a history nerd I have to say reenacting is an interesting field. And the good groups can get paid a LOT to provide segments for film/TV production companies, as consultants or actors.
Death Metal is win. Ever listened to Marilyn Manson? Some of their newer stuff is pretty good... Golden Age of Grotesque especially comes to mind. Welcome to ADISC - you'll fit in here for sure. Have fun, and be sure to drop by IRC sometime! Nice job. *insert fail related meme here* --Danny

Great intro and Bio page! Well done! Well done! Welcome to ADISC. You'll make a wonderful addition to the forums. See you around.
If you ever get to the States (to Leavenworth, Kansas in particular) and can get permission to get onto the Ft. Leavenworth US Army Base, The Military Museum there is absolutely amazing. They have every army of the world in history as lead soldiers with all their armaments, horses, vehicles, etc. Each glass case has a different army/country represented, so you walk through corridor after corridor of these diorama displays. My father was stationed there and attending Brigadier General School when I was nine. My dad was a commanding officer (Full Colonel) in the US Army Washington National Guard and served for 30 years. Welcome again. |

Thanks!
![]() That would be amazing to see! Fort Leavenworth is really well known for it's huge amount of history, it's a major historic landmark too. Some of the more well known things about Fort Leavenworth that stick out in my mind would have to be the Combined Arms Center, National Cemetery and the Disciplinary Barracks. One place that I HAVE to go see in the U.S would be The National Museum of the United States Air Force near Dayton, Ohio. That's definitely something I can do soon because Dayton isn't all that far away from me! |
