I don't think that's legal in Canada. They're a wild animal and as such are not permitted to be kept as pets...maybe the laws are different in the US.

Either way...

That looks like animal abuse. Where are the trees and the grass...OUTSIDE THE FENCE...deer don't live on mud and a kid's wading pool....ick. IF that's a zoo, I hope it is shut down!

We have a zoo near where I used to live, they have a some deer there, the enclosure is huge (at least a hectare, I'm sure) basically deciduous forest which is where deer traditionally live (especially white-tail deer, which those in the photo appear to be).

*shakes head at the cruelty of humans*
OK, first of all I would like to know were you are getting animal abuse.

Cruelty to animals refers to the treatment or standards of care that cause unwarranted or unnecessary suffering or harm to animals. The standards of animal cruelty legislation and enforcement, are ideas of what is regarded as cruel.

Dose it look like these deer are suffering...no i didn't think so. The kid pool is for them to play in when it is hot.

They are legally owned, the USDA and the state of Missouri conservation department also inspect our deer and there incloser. I pretty sure if they thought we where hurting the deer in any way they would pull our lisence.

And just to let you know the other side of the pin is full of grass

see avatar..true that is not my dog it is my mothers and lives at her house but for the moment that's the closest that I have to having my own as I am renting a flat that doesn't allow pets. Isn't he a cutie? He's name is Schnitzel "von krum with the very low tum" named by the last owner who had a couple of kids and we thought the name was just the cutest for him.

LOL those are the only two I had pictures of.

When baby had kittens they were Prada, Versace, Gucci and Chanel. We've also had blackey, Hammy, Dopey, Juniper and Honda.

*EDITING* STUPID COMPUTER PROBLEMS
I have a cat named Whiskey, who is full of charisma, and likes to go outside and run around, and beg for food.

This is a picture of her trying to sleep... on a deck of cards.

Not the best picture ever, she looks sort of crazy here, but she is cute. Really.

LEt me try to get the @#&%ing thing up now.

Look at the attached file. Please!

She looks sort of evil, now that I think about it!

I have named the photo "Cat Playing Poker".

Also, on a side note, I had a beloved frog named Sprite, for he was the color of a Sprite bottle. He died of a cold, I have missed and him and will never forget him.
