Pretty good stories.
I have had many different surgeries but there is one thing that is always there and that is the fear. There is always a fear of the unknown. When they put you under, you have no idea what they are doing and you are instinctively fearful of conditions such as that. To make it worse, you know that they will be doing some thing to you that will likely hurt. Even knowing that what they are doing is for the best you still don't like it.
My last surgery I got a steal rod put in my leg which is bolted in on each end at the knee and ankle from when I broke the leg. Well I had a second surgery related to the same break where they took out one of the bolts and some pieces of bone but that was an easy one really. Still I hate it every time.
Even though I am incontinent and wear diapers all the time, when I go in for surgery, they put a catheter in. It is one of the only times I don’t wear diapers.
You should write some more.
