Actually, I think my "inner pressure" from myself not wanting to be found out has always been greater than my mother's who, although being quite confused the first time she found out, never got mad at me for it. I still have some of this inner pressure nowadays, mostly because I suppose it's something my mum isn't proud of about me, and I prefer her not having to face it, although I have to admit I've always been quite lucky if compared to people who were sent to shrinks for diapers.... which honestly sounds horrible.
