Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and being an "Adult Baby"...#38

Pardon my choice for DVD entertainment this evening. I am
watching the BBC History Documentary Series, "Hitler's

I had my usual "Adult Baby Time" during my afternoon nap.
I felt "safe and loved", lying between my side safety rails
hugging "Precious", my soft baby dolly friend. She is a
fierce protector of me from "bad dreams".

7:30 PM -

I was upstairs to change my very poopy diaper. Came back
downstairs to the Den to continue watching DVD's and to
use my computer to access the World Wide Web via the Inter-

One of my Autistic online friends, a woman over in the
United Kingdom who is non-verbal is stuck living in a
"care home" for developmentally disabled adults, and she
honestly told me personally, that it sucks living there.
Group Homes for the disabled are nothing more than ins-
titutionalization by another name.

8:30 PM -

As usual, I am all alone by myself. My brother is upstairs,
probably watching something on CATV.

9:30 PM -

I find myself wishing for another autistic to play NERF Toy
Gun SWAT Team with me.

But, for now it seems to be an unfulfillable wish. Finding others
to come and play with me has always been a problem I have
never seemed to have overcome.
I do experience a lot of loneliness, which seems to be getting
worse as I age.

    I would love to have a side safety rail, or crib. I can imagine how safe I would feel, all snuggled up in there. Maybe one day Woody.
