My newest home sewn cloth diaper

Rate this Entry
I've got material to make one more of these, and I think I'm gonna get some more of this print...I've always liked Pooh, and have wanted Pooh diapers forever. I'm getting much faster at sewing these. I think this one took about 90 minutes.

Yay, congrats! I'm jealous of your ability to do this. I wanna make some Strawberry Shortcake or Lalaloopsy ones!

They are super easy to do if you have a sewing machine and basic sewing skills. Before I started making these I'd never used a sewing machine before. Now I can turn one of these out in about an hour. Total cost for one is about $8 - $10 depending on whether fabric is on sale and of course it's custom fitted, so it's much better than buying online. There is a really good article here on ADISC on making cloth diapers, and there are some very good instructional videos on YouTube. Give it a shot...you'll find it's fun and easy.
