This is why I have issues with my gender.

"No, sorry. She's on holiday."
"Oh. Are you her son?"
"Ehh ... no. I'm her daughter."

(For the record, I am actually female.)
I felt kind of sorry for the woman afterwards, though. She was really embarrassed and apologetic.

    It happens to everyone at some point, especially younger. Did this upset you or just make you feel awkward?

    It didn't really bother me, to be honest. I'm an adult now, but I spent my entire childhood being asked whether I was a boy or a girl. Not even in a mean way, people genuinely just didn't know. Even now my own family can't tell me apart from my brothers when I'm speaking on the phone.

    lol, that happened a lot to me too. on the phone everyone thought i was a girl, and until i was almost 18 some people would mistake me in person too - the Adult Baby / Diaper Lover / Incontinence Support Community. is designed to be viewed in Firefox, with a resolution of at least 1280 x 1024.
