Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and being an "Adult Baby"...#382

Rate this Entry
New Year's Day is almost over.
It was a quiet day today.
I have been watching TV on DVD and Online.
I did have a nice naptime from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
I slept under my "Paw Patrol" comforter blankie.
Outdoor air temperature as Midnight and the 2nd day of 2018 approaches is 5 degrees Fahrenheit.
Yes, extreme cold here in Salem, New Hampshire.
Later at 2:00 AM, I will get into my bed to sleep.
I will fall asleep by ~ 2:30 AM.
No, I have no New Year's Resolutions, except to fight harder for the civil rights of us adults with lifelong disabilities.
I will note that yesterday before worship at the "Open & Affirming" congregational Meetinghouse I belong to, my Pastor gave me a barely used pair of forearm crutches someone did not need anymore.
Now I have 3 good pairs of forearm crutches which I need for long distance mobility as a 59 year-old with Cerebral Palsy and Asperger's Syndrome.
I will note, that this afternoon I did quietly play with some of my LEGO building blocks after going out to the grocery store for "toilet paper".
I made a little tractor and a little Choo-Choo Train Engine.
Taking time to play is important to me.
One can not be a serious adult all the time.
