I guess my own personal deathly fear is Homophobia.
Being of the older generation, I have had to live in the
closet for most of my life, with the exception of the
past several years.
Outside of the closet is in my own mind extreme danger.
Society still has a very long way to go before someone
like myself can fully live openly.
There are many who will never accept my physical existence.
Yet, there is a small minority in the outside world who do
accept that I have a right to live in this world.
But this minority is still drowned out by a large and very
vocal number of people who are too closed-minded to ever
consider that LGBT persons like myself are just as human
as they are.
It does depress me, that no matter how hard I objectively
prove that I care about only doing good in this world, there
are people in the outside world who have decided that I am
not worthy of life, based upon only 6 verses in the Holy
