I have not done much today, except for attending a
local classic car show across town and performing a
little bit of grocery shopping.
I did take a long nap, safe and sound in my bed with
my dolly friend "Pam", and "Howard Hug", my newest
After I woke up from my late afternoon nap, instead
of watching the evening news and ordinary broadcast
television, I have been watching old cartoons.
I have already watched an episode on DVD of the old
Supermarionation "THUNDERBIRDS" sci-fi TV show.
I am also watching a few episodes of "Thundarr the
Barbarian" online on my laptop computer.
Being the Asperger's/Autism "walking encyclopedia"
that I am, did you know, that "Thundarr the Barbarian"
was the last cartoon that comic book artist, "Alex Toth"
created the conceptual artwork for. His early cartoon
conceptual artwork included the cartoons:
BIRDMAN AND THE GALAXY TRIO
SPACE GHOST AND DINO BOY
and other cartoons.
Alex Toth, Jack Kirby, and Stan Lee are really the
"Big Three" of the comic book artistry world of the
last 60 years.
Well, back to watching cartoons...
