Just one. As soon as I get past security, the knee brace goes on my leg. For the purposes of getting through security, I place all metal objects in my bag, this included. By having such an item in the bag, I know that security with probably open the bag to view the contents. This is only applicable to this thread as another example of things air port security may come across that should not be publicly displayed. They are normally well aware of privacy concerns and will attempt to not display medical items. While diapers are kept in a separate compartment, I am not concerned about either item getting handled in an inappropriate manner.

Hah, I accidentally smuggled a bottle of hand sanitizer (illegal because it's a liquid/gel) onto a plane this summer. It was in the bottom of my backpack, I forgot it was there and security didn't find it.
Seriously, an airport is probably the best possible place to wear diapers in public because there is a very heightened respect for personal privacy in that environment. --Danny
