I'm thinking about doing this soon. I'm going to be going to walmart at 9:30 on a weeknight. The store is usually dead and I can go through the self checkout still.
I also have a bunch of stories in my head incase I get caught by someone I know. I'm doing my best to plan ahead. The only problem - where can I hide this in a dorm room? There are no closets with doors, drop ceilings or anything else. I'm afraid that putting under the bed would not work. Nor would putting them in clothes drawers. Any suggestions? |

If only my Walmart had a self-checkout.
What about between the mattress and box springs? Alternatively, why not save some money and buy a portable safe? Granted it's not the best solution, but it is a solution. If you have any kind of storage box, here's what I used to do before I tried the ceiling: get a can of spray-paint the same color as the outside of the box, cut a piece of cardboard/plastic the same shape as the bottom of the box, spray it with the paint, and booyah: a false bottom for your box. Just toss some old junk on top of the false bottom and store your diapers under it. No-one ever found mine, and the box I used was in the middle of the floor! I had to get rid of it though, because my mom was on a cleaning rampage one day and said that she was going to go through my stuff to see what she could send to Goodwill. I figured it would be easier to find a hiding place than to try to find an excuse for her not to go through my stuff. |

The hiding them in an old backpack idea is great. I do that. for additional protection, the zipper is locked with a tiny lock I bought. Only I know the combination.
It's never used, so I doubt it's found, and if it is, hell, good luck opening it or telling me to reveal the contents |
