And also, I do know a lot of people here in this small town and the people I know all know that "I'm not from here" so I think its part of my reasoning that perhaps putting them in the basket, or a cart if I'm actually doing some real shopping, it kind of shields them from view from other's that I might run into.
i am like that since the manager is friends with my mom.
but i never see him and i am still small enought to get loike pull-ups and underjams so they don't care. so it's ok don't worrie i mean i am in a kind of situatio were i could be reaqaly screwed but it never happens(and i hope it never does ) again it's ok

I usually am just buying diapers when I go to buy em, so just grab and go. If the store I'm at has a self checkout that's best. The cashiers at wallgreens doesn't seem to pay attention anyway.

I do hope I never run into someone I know, no matter what I would say I'd be bright red.

Not one, not two, but *three* people I know work at Wal*Mart, so it's hard to time it right for when they're all off work. But in any case, I usually use a cart because it's more natural-looking and if someone at a distance happens to glance your way, they can't immediately tell what it is until you get to the checkout.

That's pretty much my reasoning for putting them in the cart, other people can't see it from a distance. I could care less what the cashier thinks, they've never said anything to me.

They can't say anything; they may get fired if the customer complains that the cashier is too nosy.
