thta is very interesting.
i hope they don't go cloth backed because those are really bad nd go thew the backing. i hope they get thicker but the 24/7 ones are a bit to thick for me because it is hard to move. i hope pull-ups go bye bye because of many reasons. i bet they go bio but the backings will probably be horrible i mean all cloth and stuff ick. i also hope they get more printed diapers even thou you can make prints. i hope they go to one tab because the are again more mobile. but no one knows. p.s. the paper thin ones suck and please no digital diapers because i know that has to be an idea |

Lolz, i wish i had diapers to wear for a week. Lolz, i also wish a had a week alone where i could wear the diapers i wished for for the week i previously wished for. Lolz. I also wish the world was more accepting of *B/DLs, especially since it's not like we're smoking or drinking. Lol, this proboably isn't the right thread but still, in ten years i hope all my wished come true. =)

Yes, in 10 years, there will be the capability to do amazing things with diapers. I hope that the pendulum swings the other direction, to more absorbant, more effective (less "cloth"-backed) products. This doesn't necessarily mean thicker, but more technologically-advanced so that wearablility, absorbancy, wicking, and leak protection are improved. Its not a question as to whether or not this is possible, its whether this technology will be applied, and whether companies will listen to the consumer. Im sure that people who use Attends did not ask Paper-Pak to make them thin and leaky, as they have become in recent years. Time shall tell...

I'm afraid that the trend is to cheap pull up style diapers. I've noticed that grocery stores around here are hard pressed to carry anything else. Thank goodness for drug stores.
As far as where the diaper for long term use will go, i see companies selling diapers based on the astronaut MAG (maximum absorbancy garment) which is paper thin and holds like 10 gallons for those long space walks. On a side note. Who else besides me will simply quit wearing if all diapers go cloth backed? |
