Hmm, Lil Swimmers, or Cannonballs! yes, i use the public pools alot, i don't get much of an issue cause i can usually hold my poo, and don't go in if i can't, yes, ppl pee in the them ALL THE TIME, i'm sure all but the most uptight of us anyways, the fun one is peeing on the way from the pool to the shower or vice versa, laying on a sun chair for any extended time can be a bit problematic

Looking at the online information, I am rather disturbed about the lack of a good, disposable swim diaper for adults. Knock me back into reality if I'm completely off base, but it seems like this would be a natural market progression for Attends, with their ownership by Kimberly Clark and their relationship with Little Swimmers. It seems like everything I find is either reusable or crappy off brand plastic pants.

There can't be any good swim diaper... it needs to be AIR TIGHT to be truly effective at all. How would you get a air tight diaper? You can't as far as I can see via tapes, pins or pull-ons. Also would you wear something that cuts off blood flow to your legs and waist while trying to swim at the same time? Also there's countless reports of Little Swimmers failing. My sister baby sat for this family with a pool, they put one of their babies in a little swimmers and it literary fell apart dump it and all the contents inside (feces) the pool. Would you like to swim in said pool? Would you like to pay for said damage/cleaning? The whole pool needed to be at least drained and I think cleaned as well then refilled. |

Honestly kids... read your litterature. Swim diapers are only made for containing #2.
That being said... cloth is typically best. I haven't seen a swim-diaper yet that promises anything about containing pee. Disposable swim-diapers are just a gimmick. There really wasn't a demand for them at all until KC started advertising the Lil Swimmers and made parents think about it. Before that time parents would typically use either a regular disposable or more often a cloth diaper and plastic pants to handle any issues with #2. From the IC and handicapped people I have spoken to... they will use some kind of cloth swim diaper only if they are fecally IC... if they have urinary IC only they typically just wear a normal bathing suit and let it happen. People pee in the pool or lake or ocean all the time... it's really no big deal. If you are in a pool there are enough chemicals to kill any bacteria that may be in there. As I said earlier... I have some swim diapers... mainly for the fun factor. I don't actually go swimming that often so there isn't much of a point. |

Say they are like 15 inches, just a rough guess. They are not going to make them not fit at exactly 15.5 .... diapers stretch. Some off us have to ask these things, not all are living away from parents or have local shops with adult one's... |
