Has anybody ever been cought wearing diapers?

Well, I think most of us have been "found in the act".
Most folks don't do, or think much about it.
In the case of when I was 7, I came downstairs in a size 4 (Yes.. I have always been small), and tighty-whites.
She reprimanded me "What do you have on your ass?"
I ran, and hid in the bathroom trying to take it off... XD
She found out, and only scolded me for wasting one... X_x
"You should have kept it on, these things are expensive ya know" She was working in day care at the time and knew kids around that age like to experiment with such things.
Five years later he found some used ones, likened it to bed wetting.
Recently I came out about TBism. She already knew all about the "fetish" ans gave me one rule
"Don't go around shitting yourself in public and I don't care about it."

I think my parents are well aware at this point, with buying my sleepers in all...

So yeah.

Being caught is never a big deal for me.

I don't think it's fair to definitively say whether it's proper or unappealing to live with one's parents past the teenage years as it's culturally variable. A lot of southern European cultures as well as Asian and African communities don't have this stigma about living with family any longer than absolutely necessary.

For me, as with most things, I think it's about balance - if you're are living off your parents in your twenties (ie they do all the washing, cooking and pay for you and such) I think there is a problem and you need to take a bit of responsibility for yourself as it's not fair on them. If, however, it makes financial sense, you do your fair share of work around the house and it suits all parties, I think it's silly to decree that living with anyone is indelibly wrong or reflects badly on your character. I would suggest that the fault doesn't necessarily lie with your thirty-something man living with his family if he is happy with his living arrangements and isn't exploitative of his parent's generosity but with the snide and snickering remarks made behind his back by people who can't look beyond lazy cultural assumptions and norms. Also, people are different and develop at different rates. There's nothing wrong with that; it's a long life of looking after yourself out there on your own so taking a year or two more than expected to get there isn't such a terrible thing in context.

That said, I personally, couldn't be doing with living with my parents full-time at this age. When it's not term time at uni I do often stay with them and it's fine - I do my bit at home and we get on - but I like my independence so I wouldn't be happy living like that all the time. That's just me though, and I'm not going to be judgmental about others who are happy to do that as I don't think it's always correct to assume they are simply mooching.

Oh, and I've never been caught. Not that there would be much to catch me doing, to be honest.

If I actually had money to buy some.... yes... yes I would. But, still not in front of them, there's a bit of a stigma still about it in my mind.

funny, at some point, when i was in extreme financial difficulties, and recently divorced, i found myself moving back in with my mother, this was 5 years ago, i hate to say it, but now, they are living off of me. their house and all, but i pay the lion's share of the bills now

The old saying my friend... "What goes around, comes around." Now you just make sure to give them a hard time about needing adult diapers of their own when old age and incontinence sneaks up on them. Maybe they'll understand.

Your mother is amazing, i wish i like made a joke about this Ab/DL thing before i said i think i have a weird fetish. Just wish it happened another way. She caught me whilst i was trying to put on a nappy, i heard her outside my door and quickly put it in my trousers, then she knew i was up to something...
